Aston Martin Vanquish : V8 AMG et hybridation

Aston Martin lancera la Valhalla en 2023. La supercar destinée à concurrencer la Ferrari 296 GTB et la McLaren Artura troquera son V6 turbo par le V8 turbo AMG associé à un moteur électrique pour délivrer 830 ch.
Tobias Moers, PDG d’Aston Martin, a mis un terme au développement du V6 turbo hybride maison et lui préfére le V8 4.0 biturbo AMG pour motoriser la prochaine Vanquish (une appellation susceptible de disparaître selon Lawrence Stroll, propriétaire de la marque) qui aura la lourde tâche de concurrencer les Ferrari 296 GTB et McLaren Artura. Comme ses deux futures rivales, la supercar d’Aston Martin fera appel à l’hybridation pour développer une puissance maximale de 830 ch, tout en garantissant de pouvoir profiter encore un peu de la voix rauque du V8 d’origine teutonne. Et si la rationalisation avait du bon ?
